Finally Fast, what!?
I'm watching the Tennessee vs UCLA football game when I see this commercial for FinallyFast.com. This was not my first encounter with it and I am positive it will not be my last. For those of you who have not had the privilege of even one showing, check it out:
Now, if you stop the video at 0:12, you will notice a woman has notepad open. While I was watching this on my 42" TV, I was able to read the first sentence and it got me intrigued. I decided to rewind and read the whole damn thing. This experience is something that needs to be shared so...I took a picture. Check it out!
Isn't that kinda freakin' strange? Wonderland is quarantined with Sars and Quasimoto gets shot in the chest! It looks like his hunchback may need to be surgically removed as well.
I am not sure I understand the motivation behind them putting this entire thing into the commercial, not that anything in the commercial makes any sense whatsoever but I hope I am not the only one who thinks its strange.

Friends: The Complete Series!
I finally broke down and did it; I bought the complete series of Friends. I officially call it a birthday present to Elsa because she is a Friends fanatic but secretely it is because I am a Friends fanatic and want all the seasons for myself. It makes me feel more financially sound to purchase it for somebody else.
I did not purchase each season individually, I purchased the gigantic 40 DVD boxset that contains every episode in it. Let me be the first to alert you: IT IS SLICK.
Take a loot at the pictures on Amazon. Sexy, aint it?
Today I watched the first couple episodes and plan to "watch my way through it" in the coming weeks and months. I have never really seen much of the show past season six or seven so I am looking forward to those episodes.

AT&T U-verse
My old motto: Time Warner can suck it.
My new motto: Let's hope AT&T is better!
I am currently at home instead of at work because I am waiting on AT&T technicians to come out and install their "U-verse" service.
I am sick of Time Warners terrible HD selection as well as their inability to pick up NFL Network and BigTen Network. With AT&T, all thes problems are gone. They carry both NFL and BigTen as well as about 15 other HD channels that Time Warner fails to have.
The only downfall to the switch: I lose the Tennis Channel. This is quite a loss for me as I love to watch Tennis. However, for twice the HD content including BigTen/NFL I am more than happy to make the trade off. That and the chances of AT&T picking up Tennis is much better than Time Warner picking up the 15 channels that AT&T has.
You are probably wondering about price. Well, I paid 113.17 a month with Time Warner and will pay 113.00 with AT&T. There is really only one thing to say about that; BOOYAH.
The technician literally JUST called me as I am writing this and I will give an update on whether or not they are good after I have used it for a couple days!
UPDATE: The technicians smell like cigarettes.
UPDATE 2: Installation is done and a couple of initial impressions(Good and Bad):
1. Lots more HD channels. (Good)
2. Cannot record one HD channel and watch another. (Bad)
3. Can set things to record from the web. Liryon, I understand your DVR did this years ago. (Good)
4. Cannot watch HD channel on both receivers at the same time. This is probably the worst thing, honestly. Granted, I literally watched TV in my room at most once every two months so it probably won't come into play but it still seems dumb.
