My New Obsession
Hello there, LO Community! How are you? I am fine. I apologize for the recent lack of updates to this blog but I assure you there is a fine explanation.
As the title says, I have a new obsession. What is it? Investing. WHAT!?!? Yes, investing.
The obsession really began during college when Bill and I took a finance class for our business minor. At that point, I became interested in mutual funds, IRA's and 401(k)'s but not directly purchasing stocks.
This all changed a couple months ago when I bought some stock in Apple. Since then, I have bought a considerable amount more stock, not all in Apple(that would not be diversified people). Because of this, however, I spend a lot of my time reading books about investing and trying to keep up with the stocks that I own.
I have added a new category to this site called "Investing." As of right now, I am not sure how often I will add articles to that category but I figure it can't hurt to have.
To drive the point home even further, I have drawn up this chart to show my interest in investing over the past year.
